Where is TURN located?

The TURN program is based out of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. All course instruction takes place in Bartlesville, OK.

What kind of exercises will I be doing?

Walking, rowing, cycling (stationary) and various body weight exercises, such as squats and push-ups. We will save sky-diving and ultra marathons for later. You do not have to be in shape to start. All exercises will be customized for you, at your current level of fitness.

Will this program really work for me? I have tried everything.

If you follow the program, it will work for you. If you are expecting fast results, forget it. Change takes time and is best done slow and steady.

How is this any different than having a gym membership and keeping my own food journal?

With TURN, you will have a coach who provides structure, encouragement and accountability.

When do I meet with my TURN coach?

You will meet with your coach three times per week, for 30 minutes, Monday-Friday, between 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. You will coordinate with your coach on exact days and times.

How does the nutrition part of your program work?

At the very foundation of your physical health and the thing you have total control over is the food you choose to eat. We keep our approach to nutrition very simple…85% of the time or more, eat vegetables, lean meat, healthy fats, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.

By eliminating sugar and processed foods, and replacing them with whole foods, you can eliminate cravings, correct hormonal imbalances, resolve digestive issues and strengthen your immune system. A whole food based diet also can improve your sleep, energy levels, attention span, body fat composition and confidence.

However, we understand that the occasional piece of birthday cake or slice of pizza has a place in your life. Nutrition comes down to balance and we will help you get there.

You will meet with your coach 3x per week for 90 days. The first 10 minutes of each visit will be your food journal review and discussing where better decisions can be made. The second part of your visit, 20 minutes, will be a very doable form of exercise. At the end of the 90 days we will weigh, measure and take a body composition and compare those measurements to day 1. If you are happy with the direction your health is going, you can continue for another 90 days.
